Creatio ex nihilo and Play-Doh

As part of a Bible lesson, 2nd-grade students were given two minutes to create what they wanted out of Play-Doh and then share how they created it before Ms. Collins talked about how God created (creatio ex nihilo or “creation out of nothing”). After learning about the power of God’s creation, students were invited to try to speak their Play-Doh creations into existence. They learned firsthand that only God is mighty enough to do that!
